A delicate, Regency-inspired, turned wall mounted Bobbin Bookshelf in Bleached Oak or African Walnut.

 

Our Quarter Sawn Bleached Oak finish gives a totally natural look and feel. Due to the level of tannin content in each piece a slight variation is inevitable. The degree of flecking and knotting will be more present on larger surface areas.

African walnut, sometimes referred to as Amazaque, is a beautiful close grained, stable hard wood which has a finish somewhere between black walnut and Rosewood. The timber is finished in a high quality Tung oil.

Quarter Sawn Oak Veneer – Natural Oak with Natural light finish. Note, we use both Solid and Veneer depending on the location on a product and the product itself, e.g. For legs, spindles, arms and trims solid is used and for large surface areas veneer is applied. Solid combines thick wooden layers and may result in some surface checking.
